The Image - Beaujolais

Masked musical duo The Image is back with their fifth single of the year, “Beaujolais.” Hawaiian audio engineer Franskiiz, and his vocal counterpart, the LA-born Watrcup have been making magic together since they were introduced by their manager, Eitan Schorr of Plugintheox Management in 2019. Their last release, “Believe In Me” has over 3 million streams on SoundCloud alone, garnering them industry as well as fan attention, with a rumored collaboration with Kanye West in the works.
From their mystical presence to their ethereal music, The Image’s unique blend of rap and pop makes each genre melt beautifully into the other, creating a reciprocal, symbiotic relationship throughout the track’s three minutes. “Beaujolais” stuns; an impressive track with a firm grasp of how to balance production and vocals, this is making it on my playlists for sure.
Lyrics That Stick:
“I come from where you can measure pounds from a check (Oh yeah, oh yeah)
If I'm gon' shoot it, let you do it, bodies hit the deck
All I do is grab them office managers and make them shake that shit (Oh yeah)
Often pessimistic but these days I'm tryna break that shit”
