Hood Taylor Sets The Scene With Cinematic New Single “Texas Two Step”

I don’t care if you don’t smoke, this is a good time to grab a lighter, because we have a brand new single today from alternative singer/songwriter from Bullard, Texas, Hood Taylor, called “Texas Two Step” , and this one seems like it was just made for a sky full of lighters. This song is a perfect testament to the statement “sometimes, less is more”. It’s minimal production leaves the perfect amount of room for Hood Taylor to deliver some impactful heart tugging vocals that give this one the ability to help the listener disconnect from the world around them for a moment.
For Hood Taylor, music wasn’t always the game plan. In fact, growing up he thought he always thought he would end up playing football at his father’s alma mater, the University of Arkansas. However, destiny had other plans, and after a career ending foot injury, he was propelled into music where he learned how to fully express the way he was feeling. I must say, although injuries are never ideal, some things are meant to be, because his new single “Texas Two Step” is a perfect display of the talent and potential that Hood Taylor has, and as the word about his music continues to travel, I think it’s only a matter of time before he’s headlining shows and those football dreams are so far in the rearview you almost forget about them.
