Although he is new to our pages, Jay Summer is someone that really caught our ear with his ability to craft introspective singles that pull at our heartstrings. With only a handful of songs out, he continues to garner traction with his exceptional vocals and impeccable storytelling. Now, he is back with his latest release “Tarmac”.

The single is led by warm guitars followed by captivating cadences and lush melodies throughout. At the song’s core, Jay pens a single that discusses his journey and how he found balance on his own after leaving his parents and old life 5 years ago. The single is about finding your footing in life and ultimately feeling like everything is balanced. Overall, the song is extremely relatable and the sonics make it so easy to get enthralled in all of his lyrics. With that being said, stream the single below and add it to your playlists.

Lyrics That Stick:

“Paint faded and cracked

Tickets on the dash

Pushing wrinkles out

Of a button down

With heat off the hood

Of my car”
