Although these 2 are frequent collaborators and have had some of the biggest hits of their careers side by side, their new song together isn’t like anything else we’ve ever heard from these 2. T-Pain and Chris Brown stray from their anthem-style music, and instead have a soft, emotional ballad.
The first thing that I noticed is that T-Pain, who has always had an incredible voice, has strayed further away from his usual “autotune” voice with this release, and it is amazing. Both his and Brown’s powerful singing voices help to bring the emotion to the surface as they sing about life’s struggles and fear of dying. The track is very well-produced, with a powerful kick that hits you right in the heart. It might have been years since you last listened to T-Pain, but I recommend you go and listen again.
