Newport has delivered yet another banger right in the palm of our hands. “Interstate,” his latest single brings this hypnotic and infectious energy we come to find in almost of Newport’s projects. This artist music is contagious from first listen. I feel as though once you find one of Newport’s songs you’re hooked and in it for the long haul.

“Interstate” borders that house music realm while still telling a story. The instrumental is insane, which we’ve come to notice first in his other songs. Newport’s vocals contain this slight rasp that feels like an itch that’s been scratched after hearing it. The way he lingers one each line brings this beautiful symphony throughout the entirety of the song.

This single dives into a rather toxic but equally intriguing relationship that he can’t get enough of. Now the ex being “Interstate.” His sound reminded us of Jeremy Zucker or Christian French in this particular song, but adding a slight edge. It’s a perfect addition to this upcoming summer season and all the good times that come with that. Anything that Newport releases, you can count on Banger being the first to share the wealth!
