When it comes to music discovery, it feels like it harder and harder to find records that truly push the boundaries and offer a fresh feel compared to everything else be released. Due to that, it feels like we have become a lot more picky with the artists and songs that we choose to cover. Although it does make it harder to find these incredible records we yearn for, there is an unspeakable beauty of discovering records that catch our ear on the first listen. For us, we were blessed to discover rising singer Haiden, and we were completely blown away by his new anthem “Sorry To Your Next Ex”.
The record initially blew up on TikTok, and the hype doesn’t seem to have died down. Over the song’s runtime, Haiden shines with his captivating vocal delivery, and the song serves as an anti-love anthem. If you have ever felt like you were too good for an ex and wanted something relatable to listen to then this record is perfect for you. The song is laced with rock elements that heighten it’s pop sound, and Haiden floats over the sonics with a liberal application of distortion and attitude. Overall, the song is one of the best we have heard as of late so make to stream below and rock out!
