Caye Solidifies His Sound On New Epic Single “SOME LAKES”

Returning the BOTD we have a familiar favorite, that’s right folks, artist/producer/songwriter Caye is back again with another vibey single called “SOME LAKES”. The Santa Monica based artist further paves a lane of his own with this one, blending together so many sounds that it makes it almost impossible to pin this sound down to just one genre.
One of my favorite parts about the evolution of music over time is that it’s become more and more acceptable to color outside the lines in terms of what genres artists create their music in. Caye is a perfect example of that evolution, his music sounds almost as if it was made for film rather than radio but it makes it that much more enticing to see live. With all the cinematic moments in production and big catchy unpredictable melodies, the song has a way of transporting you to a whole different world.
