When it comes to artists that had an early influence on me as a music lover, Shwayze is someone that always comes to mind. In his early days, his ability to craft infectious summer tunes with Cisco Adler was something I felt deserved more credit. With songs like “Buzzin’”, “Corona and Lime”, “Love Is Overrated”, and even collaborating with Kendrick Lamar in his early stages, Shwayze was a star in my eyes. To this day, Shwayze has continued to put out quality, and he returns with his latest single “Someday” that features Little Dume.
Little Dume is 4-piece band of brothers from Malibu, CA that has a lot of experience behind the scenes as well as commercial success as a group. With their musicianship and overall vocal talent, they compliment Shwayze well on their latest record. The record itself is vibrant, and it is a perfect song to end your Summer on. Backed by lush pop melodies, hip-hop undertones, and warm vocals, “Someday” is the perfect song to coast down PCH to. In addition, David Sandborg’s (Vocalist for Little Dume) raspy vocals are so captivating and make the hook that much better. Overall, this single is a bop and has been stuck on repeat. With that being said, stream the song below and vibe out!
