Honesty is key, and vulnerability is essential in the music industry nowadays if you want to have longevity. Songs rise and fall quickly, but unless an artist has something deeper to offer the fans, they won’t be remembered for very long. In my opinion, this plays a huge role in the longevity of Shane Moyer.

His music is great and has been for years, but his willingness to open up and be vulnerable is what puts him ahead of the pack. On this track, Moyer opens up about his depression and how he sees his life. With the honesty, though, the musicality has still not been lost. The panned background vocals give a feeling of him being in your head, helping to push the message even a little bit further. Give the song a listen, and I am confident you’ll agree that it’s a banger.

Lyrics That Stick:

“You can walk in my shoes

Bet you run away”
