Whether the perfect person for you exists or not is up to your digression, but fact is that some people just fit better with you than others. When you find that you find attractive, makes you laugh, and you get along with, you had better do everything you can to keep them around. At least, that’s what Sebastian Portillo tells us in his new song.
‘2000 Degrees’ is a beautifully told story that mixes pain and hope and a lot of other emotions all over a simple instrumental. It sounds to me that Portillo is trying to convince a girl to stay by his side, although the reason of her wanting to leave is unknown. The beauty in Portillo’s singing comes in it’s simplicity, never doing anything crazy but never really needing to. The beauty in the song gives it a ton of replay value for me, and this is one that I’ll be listening to for a long time.
