Rydyr - Dream Alone

This song sounds like something I’ve heard before, but not in a bad way. It sounds like memories of summer in high school and past flings and momentary happiness that didn’t last long enough. It’s hard to explain, but Rydyr has done something very special with this song.

The first time you hear Rydyr’s voice is with a chorus of, “La da da da da” that drew me in the first time that I heard it. A simple verse follows but then goes back as the song, for lack of a better word, explodes. It’s mesmerizing, which is why it’s not his story that I’m thinking of as he tells it, but I’m drawn to my past experiences. It’s a very special song, one that I recommend you listen to right now.
