Ryan Oakes - Cruise Control

Perfectly blending the lines between many genres, Ryan Oakes is back with not only a new single, but the lead single for his debut album.. Huge. One of the hardest workers that I follow in music, his time is coming, and it’s well-deserved.
‘Cruise Control’ shows Oakes letting out his thoughts on the fact that artist’s always get a lot bigger after their passing. This can be said true for almost all artists who have left us, with Nipsey Hussle, Mac Miller & Pop Smoke being a few that came to my mind. Oakes tells us, he won’t be famous until he dies for that exact reason. It’s a chilling, honest and intense song that will keep you intrigued all the way through, and then have you restarting it right away. Like I said, it’s his time and I recommend you check him out right now.
Lyrics That Stick:
“All of my friends these days are the voices in my head”
