Kid Travis Is Living “RENT FREE” In Our Heads With His Intoxicating New Single

Over the last year, emerging Philadelphia singer/songwriter, Kid Travis, has continued to bless our ears with infectious singles that pull at our heartstrings. I don’t know what it is about him, but Kid Travis is a breath of fresh air compared to everyone else that we are covering. His vocal delivery is exceptional, and his choruses have a nostalgic touch that is almost hypnotizing. Now, he is back with his latest single “RENT FREE”, and it has been stuck in our heads all week.
The single is a romantic r&b record that discusses an ex about a girl who lives in his head rent free. He discusses wanting to move on but realizing he can’t due to the desire to not be alone. Travis deals with the fact that he knows this girl isn’t the best option but he can’t let go. Overall, the song is sonically pleasing and the vocals were exceptional.
