Hailing from Los Angeles, CA, singer/songwriter, Carter Reeves, is back with his new single titled ‘Recognize Me’. The single is a charming fusion of indie and pop, and it feels like a breath of fresh air compared to everything else coming out.
‘Recognize Me’ fuses many different sounds together, and the Justin Lucas production gives the song that dreamy touch that will have the record on repeat. Carter’s vocals are tight and his stacked melodies add the needed depth to the song that makes it stick. Although it may feel upbeat or bright on the surface, the song is about the feeling of disconnection that we have all felt due to the global pandemic we are in.
