For the past four years, Quiet Bison has been on the cutting edge of electronic production. His latest effort is a joint one, featuring R&B rising star Reo Cragun. With these two working in tandem to innovate sonically on every front, how could “High Like This” not be a hit?
With grunge and noise reminiscent of Mura Masa’s work, Quiet Bison creates a beautiful setting for Reo Cragun’s vocals to thrive and connect with listeners as deeply as possible. I found myself alternating between listening to the production and lyrics as the two are both standout parts of the song. “High Like This” is a beautifully 2020 release.
