When I opened the submissions this morning, I thought it would be just like any other day, but what I didn’t know is that I would be adding a new song to my playlist and artist on my radar so quickly. And for that, I have Nate Fenn to thank for his new single “On Your Phone”. This one was the perfect way to start the day.

This one has a vibe of its own but still possesses a certain familiarity that gives me the feeling Nate Fenn is going to have a great year if he can keep releasing at this rate. As I was jamming to “On Your Phone”’s guitar based pop-hip hop production, hearing Nate Fenn’s melodic vocals reminded me of Kid Laroi over a Reggae beat in a way. It’s an interesting blend, and I’m curious to hear what he’s got next for us!
