When it comes to relationships and heartbreak, letting go seems to always be the toughest part. Even if the relationship is toxic, we often hate breaking things off due to the fact that we are emotionally attached and set unrealistic goals of us changing for the better. This in turn leads us to continue down this dark road until one of the people in the relationship finally gains enough awareness and truth to help both parties by ending it.
Although this topic is highly relatable, rising artist Pardyalone does an exceptional job in displaying these feelings over his new single “not a home”. The song is a powerful record about losing touch with the person you love and it is about realizing that your home can lose its feeling when you are missing the person or things you need. This has to be one of his best songs sonically and the slow pace makes it so much more captivating. We are initially introduced to smooth acoustics before hearing Pardyalone’s pain-filled vocals. He does an incredible job in evoking raw emotions, and his lyrics have been stuck in my head since the first listen.
With that being said, stream the single below and vibe out!
