When it comes to finding the perfect balance between R&B and Hip-Hop, Jay Loud is the perfect artist to go to. With his unique sound and ability to shift between singing and rapping, he continues to create music that is captivating to his listeners. After a short hiatus, he releases his first single of 2021 titled ‘No Safety’.
The record is exciting from start to finish and his buttery vocals float perfectly over the 808s that set the tone for the track. In addition to having great movement sonically, the storytelling he displays in the song is very mature. He discusses coming up from a harder life and having to survive for the people he loves. Overall, the song is a great song for late-night drives and it is a must-listen.
