The way Samica has been performing lately will have you thinking it must be her ‘payday’! No seriously, all jokes aside, she has been killing it with her latest projects. 2020 has been her debut year and we couldn’t be more impressed with the talent and vocal control she possesses. This year alone, she has gained close to 30,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.
Her latest single “Payday” is a perfectly constructed track with mesmerizing, soft vocals and an overlying futuristic sound. Through a blend of R&B and pop, she is able to tell a story in a unique and fun way. We definitely see a style similar to Kehlani and Sabrina Claudio when it comes to vocal prowess. There is no doubt that Samica has the necessary talent to go mainstream and as the years develop, we will continuously be on the lookout for her next project!
