MOP! Cruises Into The Summer With His Bubbly New Single, “SUNSHINE”

    Recently, I’ve been having discussions with the team about who is an artist that I think is having a breakout year. For me, I would have to say MOP!. MOP! is a teenage singer-songwriter that has garnered a loyal following through his multi-genre catalogue. He is extremely talented, and I would say his sound has some influence from artists like Mac DeMarco, Rex Orange County, and Tame Impala. Since the beginning of the year, MOP! has been on a consistent release schedule. Now, after impressing us with his previous singles “BREATH AWAY” & “FOR HER”, the singer returns to our pages with his latest offering “SUNSHINE”.

The record radiates great vibes. I’m in love with the percussion and the engaging guitar riffs. MOP!’s vocals are exceptional, and I loved his ability to change cadences and keep the listener intrigued. In addition, the record has one of the catchiest hooks I have heard all year. “SUNSHINE” feels like a nostalgic surf-rock anthem made for summer days at the beach.
