Talk about expectations being blown out of the water! From the moment we hit play on this new Damien track, we were surprised, in the best way possible, at every turn.
The softly strummed ukelele intro sets a gorgeous tone as a female singer takes the lead. It feels sitting peacefully in the rain! Then, out of nowhere, the beat drops and Damien comes in with this insane flow that seems to effortlessly cut through the beat. We could feel the sheer emotion in his voice as he relays personal testaments about anxiety and things he’s experienced.
The vulnerability here isn’t easy, so we applaud Damien for providing this masterpiece and sharing a piece of himself with us!
