There are a lot of questions when you leave a relationship, but there can also be a lot of questions as you start a relationship. In his newest song, Maurice Moore has some self-reflection as he asks himself questions about how he lived his life before his newest love.
‘eyes.’ shows Moore deep in love. It points him to a point of vulnerability to share his feelings towards this girl in case things don’t work, but he must feel that it will never end. The production is beautiful, but Moore’s voice is what steals the show. It sounds effortless for him as he switches to falsetto and back all throughout, never missing a note or even faltering in the attempt to hit them. Paired together with the beautifully honestly lyrics, this is one that deserves to be heard the world over.
