Just when we thought malik couldn’t surprise us anymore, he decided to ‘keep goin’ and drop a song for the ages. As he describes it, this ‘motivational background music’ is exactly what we needed to vibe to today.
The amount of variance in flows and lyricism here is crazy. It just felt like malik was riding the pockets of this beat with such ease, creating melody and melody that stuck! Think Gunna, but with a new twist on the perspective and overall emotion in vocal cadence.
If you weren’t aware of malik before, you better hop on the bandwagon now before it’s too late!
