Ion Lil Gut has returned with his latest single “Loner” and I think it’s safe to say this song will definitely leave you impressed. Ion has been creating a name for himself on SoundCloud for a while now and slowly building up his fanbase in the underground scene. In “Loner” he gets really candid about the way he feels when he’s sober and sings about how he wishes it was all over. I personally love it when artists write about how they’re truly feeling since it’s more relatable and real and Ion has done just that as he doesn’t shy away from letting us know what’s on his mind.
“Loner” really shows off Ion’s skillset as an artist and a vocalist, while keeping the production simple with just an acoustic guitar and counter melodies, the entirety of the production is focused on letting the vocals and songwriting shine through. I love it when the production plays it’s part perfectly to serve the song and that’s exactly what we see here. So if you’re looking for a song that’s personally real while also pleasing to the ear this track is just for you.
