I don’t know what’s in the water down there, but every artist I have recently seen emerge from Southern Florida has brought a unique sound in recent years. From artists like Dominic Fike, Yeek, BabyJake, and ALX, Florida has been a budding place for genre-bending artists that bring the feel of the Sunshine State to the forefront of the music industry. Although there are a lot of eyes focusing on the music down there, one artist that has caught my eye is Reece. Like the other artists, he brings a feel-good guitar-driven style of music that is perfect for summer days.
With his new single ‘Let Me Talk To U’, he blends lo-fi vocals with bright production to create a tropical masterpiece that blends pop and alternative music into one happy medium. Although I don’t know much about the rising star, his ability to craft authentic lyrics and deliver intoxicating melodies makes him a force to be reckoned with. In addition, his ability to switch from singing to rapping effortlessly like Dominic Fike shows he is a jack of all trades. If you are unaware of Reece, make sure to get on the bandwagon now before he is topping charts.
