Krooked Kings Does it again with their latest single, “Sports Car”

This one’s for all of Banger’s indie, alternative & feel-good music fans. If you haven’t heard of the band Krooked Kings; well, we’re happy to put you on. This alternative band coming from none other than Salt Lake City is one to look out for. Banger Of The Day has been invested and keeping a close eye on this band since they debuted in 2018.

They deliver the type of sound you’d accompany with a long, breezy drive along the coastline, or at the beginning of a movie montage. At first listen, the band’s sound could be compared to the Seattle music scene. “Sports Car” contains a nostalgic component, especially for listeners familiar with the 90’s West Coast alternative taste.

One can vividly picture the sports car these artists idolize, and the rockstar lifestyle that follows. The airy symphony of the instrumental balances well with the daydream that’s being portrayed throughout the song. “They say money can’t buy happiness…” age-old quote, right? Krooked Kings challenges that question, because who isn’t happy when they own a sports car? Maybe that’s all there is to it. Rich enough to not have to pay rent and drive a “Sports Car.” Sounds like a dream to me.
