Chicago-bred collective, Worry Club, is not your average bedroom pop band. After recently coming across their previous project “ur not real”, I was completely blown away by how captivating and refreshing the music they were making was. Although I have been following the collective for over a year now, it has been great seeing their frontman, Chase Walsh, mature and grow as an artist. When I first covered them over a year ago, I was enamored by how Chase was playing every instrument, writing every lyric, and singing every line. Their was a rawness to Worry Club’s efforts, and you could tell that they were truly building a community. Now, with a little more help behind him instrumentally, Worry Club seems set to be a breakout group come 2023. To solidify their end of the year push, they recently dropped a new single called “Knocking On Wood” and it is an impressive return for the band.

“Knocking On Wood” is captivating, full of energy, and is backed with engaging guitar riffs that will pull you in from start to finish. Walsh’s vocals are exceptional and the songwriting is raw and so relatable on so many levels. In addition to the vocal contributions, I can’t get over the instrumentation and the song sonically. Everything on this record is cohesive and this may be my favorite song at the moment. If you are in the need of a song to add to your playlists, look no further! Stream the single below and rock out.
