Someone really needs to stop Kayden… he’s getting us in our feels again. ‘PICK UP WHERE WE LEFT OFF’ is the perfect hopeless romantic masterpiece to add to Kayden’s long list of songs that hit you right in the core.

Vulnerable lyrics start the song off right away, leading into a story of the past that listeners can most likely all relate to. What’s interesting about this track is the overall uplifting feel of the piano and electronic synths. The clash between the melancholy lyrics and the young-and-free-style beat brings about a bittersweet feeling that’s hard to put into words.

Hats off to Kayden for bringing us this track. Is it too early to submit nominations for song of the summer? We’d highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t yet!
