When you see Jared Anthony drop a new track, it has you telling your friends ‘Ttyl’ so you can go listen! And might we add, you won’t be disappointed when you listen to this one. Whether you play it in the car or the shower, its the type of song you can’t not sing at the top of your lungs.
You may know Jared Anthony by his infectious melodies, clever rhyme schemes, or even his unique flows. All of those abilities are on full display throughout ‘Ttyl,’ making it the perfect hopeless romantic summer anthem. Vulnerable lyrics take charge right away, setting the tone for the story being told. When the beat drops, however, the clash between those heartbreak lyrics and an upbeat instrumental creates a feeling of contentment with the fact that one may lack a significant other.
Maybe when you listen, you’ll feel something different than we did. But hey, that’s the power of music right there! Hats off to Jared Anthony for this one.
