Los Angeles based alt-pop artist Jaq treats us to an angsty, revengeful ballad on “Cold Day In Hell.” This is her sixth single of 2020, and Jaq shows no signs of slowing down as she blazes her path in the industry.

The fresh mix between trap and pop blurs genre lines in its service of Jaq’s vision. Hers is a story of an epiphany; a woman who has come into her own and isn’t afraid of the bridges she’s had to burn to get where she is.

Lyrics That Stick:

“Yeah I warned ya, no kids in the city

can stay sober, want a pretty girl

but they ain’t know (yeah yeah)

can’t afford what you want

in California (yeah yeah)”
