jaq & Pettros - Wasting Time

This song could not have come at a better time. In a world that is facing an unprecedented dilemma in COVID-19, we have way too much time to waste. Luckily, jaq & Pettros are looking out for us and letting us know that they are struggling with it just like we have.

The song is a vibe, simply put. It sounds like Jhene Aiko & Childish Gambino’s ‘Bed Peace’ set underwater, with synths and simple drums building to a chorus about letting the day pass. Jaq takes the lead on the song, which is actually produced by Pettros. Her vocals soar over the instrumental and lead the way perfectly before Pettros comes in to finish the song off with his verse. It’s powerful, simple, and comforting to know that you’re not the only one wasting time.
