There’s a new star in tonight’s sky, a small one but burning brightly for sure. Jahs’ first single release, “Lovesick,” is a beautifully sad lover’s anthem. It’s hard to tell if this song is full break-up or make-up vibes, but what’s certain are the serene vibes that are imbued in both Jahs’ self-production and vocals.
Angst, lust, loss, these are common terms when it comes to love and heartbreak, and as much as these truths will never leave this world, it’s just as cathartic to hear fresh new takes on these familiar themes. A single like this is an incredibly strong start to any artist’s career, we here at Banger Of The Day can’t wait to see where Jahs goes next.
