Cesar Santalo Impresses With His Dreamy New Single “IT’S JUST A GAME”

When it comes to crafting infectious singles that are perfect for warm weather, rising singer/songwriter, Cesar Santalo, has always been our go to artist. With his rich vocals and exceptional delivery, he has slowly become one of our favorite artists to cover. Now, he is back with his latest offering “IT’S JUST A GAME”.
The single is a cutting-edge pop ballad that explores the relativity of life and relationships being a game. Santalo states, “I started off this song like any other song, but as I began to write it I realized I was writing the soundtrack to my own life. Life is a game and we are all players in it. There are sometimes where we are winners and sometimes we are losers. Each of us has made up, largely unconsciously, a set of rules (our values) and we follow those rules to play the game."
Over the song’s 3-minute duration, Santalo glides over the dreamy sonics discussing how he and his significant other were entangled in a game of their own. The Rocci produced instrumental is solid and Santalo is complimented by it from the start. With his direct narrative and his ability to draw emotions and put them into words, Santalo shines on this record. Overall, the single is one of the best we have heard as of late so make sure to add it to your playlists!
