I must have ‘Insomnia,’ because I got the urge to stay up all night listening to this new Kid Travis! Yeah, it really is that addictive. Everything from the house-groove production to this artist’s inherent knack for delivering the smoothest of melodies makes this one special.
The amount of layers and added textures throughout this track is absurd. Hints of trumpets and instrumental variances create an unpredictable, jazzy vibe that’s hard not to love. On top of that, Travis goes back and forth between hitting these low-toned soulful notes and high falsettos with ease. It’s like an array of gorgeous vocal deliveries coming together as one in this song. Give it a listen!
