The song takes it’s time before bringing in the lyrics and the drums, building up with plucked guitar strings and light synths behind it. The build-up just makes it even sweeter when everything finally comes in, and Indii G. explains the reason for the minor chords and feel.
The reason being, loneliness and overthinking. In this new song, ‘No Way’, Indii G. gets very personal as he explains what he’s been going through and how his own thoughts are killing him. In an artistic world, one of numeric measurements and constant comparisons, it’s very difficult to get away from your own thoughts, as we see with this track.
