ill peach Return With Their Anthemic Single, “BLOOM”

    After impressing me over a month ago with their single “HEAD FULL OF HOLES”, LA grit-pop duo, ill peach, return to our pages with their exceptional new single “BLOOM”. “BLOOM” is the first single off of their upcoming album THIS IS NOT AN EXIT.

Like many of their songs, the duo leans into a progressive style of innovative pop that blends glitchcore and alternative into one sonically pleasing sound. It’s genre bending, and they truly push the boundaries with their innovative.  Although “BLOOM” may have a similar soundscape to previous records, subject wise, the single is a one of the duo’s only conventional “love songs”. Ill peach had this to say about the record:

“A bittersweet one. It’s about testing the boundaries of a long-distance relationship. How can you love and be with someone if you can’t see them? In the flux of everything that happened these past few years, we saw friends and longtime relationships break up like a ripple effect. But also surprisingly, the ones that had it the hardest around us found love in the ashes, a beginning to an ending. Love can and will navigate anything if you believe it. So Bloom is our anthem to fighting for love”
