Ill Nicky - Stayed Strong

Ill Nicky has been grinding recently, releasing his 3rd song in 3 weeks. Now, there are people who do this pretty frequently, but the amazing thing is how consistent he’s been through it. This one, titled ‘Stayed Strong’, is about just that, staying strong through the grind.

Ill Nicky sticks to the formula that he’s gotten so good at, with a half-rap/half-sung style, perfectly complimented by the looped instrumental behind him. The best part, as usual, is the honesty behind the lyrics. Nicky explains his grind working two jobs just to stay afloat as he sacrificed everything for his music. Now, he’s at a place where people are asking him about his money. And the best part is, through it all he ‘stayed strong.’
