Being ‘Honest’ isn’t the easiest thing in the world. In fact, it’s really tough. Especially in the sense of a relationship and opening yourself up about your feelings. In his latest release, Shawn Mathews paints a beautiful image of this idea in a way that lifts any worries you may have had!

The amount of funk fit into the 2.5 minutes is insane. From the bouncy instrumentation to Shawn’s lighthearted, yet intimately-focused songwriting, I was left smiling from cheek to cheek by the end. Layers on layers of sweet textures and harmonies just make this one feel so full! Give it a listen if you haven’t yet.
