I love when music explores a new perspective. The type of perspective that’s so unique, it come only come from a place of personal experience. In her latest, Laur Elle does just that as she sings about the pressure of not being good enough for someone, and wishing they didn’t love you like they do.
On top of the vulnerable and intriguing storytelling, the inherent catchiness of this song is undeniable. Its upbeat production puts modern dance twist on 80’s pop, while Laur Elle’s uniquely smooth yet powerful voice takes control throughout. The only issue I have with this song is that it’s now been stuck in my head all day. But hey, I guess that’s not such a bad thing after all. Check it out!
Lyrics That Stick:
“It’s unfortunate
That I’m so unprepared”
