I love listening to old songs because of the nostalgia and how they transport me back to a specific time of my life. However, when a brand new song is able to accomplish the same thing, I’m pretty sure that means it’s simply a really really good song. I truly felt like I was sent back to the ‘Good Days’ from the moment I hit play on this new Chris Buxton!
First of all, Teej killed the production with those beachy guitar chords, dreamy undertones, and fast-pace percussion. Chris’ voice over that medley of excellence then fits so well! He never fails to come in with this undeniable energy that’s felt tenfold by the listener. Not to mention how well he paints this image of being young and carefree through his detailed songwriting. I want to hit up my homies from way back in the day and just bump this song with them!
