Although a lot of times, at Banger of the Day, I find myself discovering artists I’ve never heard before, it’s always a great feeling to see a familiar name in the inbox. Christian French has done us the honor of dropping another smash for us to enjoy. His new single is called “golden years”, and it’s yet another example of the consistency that Christian French has, and that separates him from his peers.

Speaking of things that separate him from his peers, one thing that’s stuck out to me since my first time hearing Christian French was his unique vocal tone. He has a certain rasp and carelessness to his voice that translate in his lyrics feeling very honest.
