Taking a similar approach to Akon on ‘Sorry, Blame it On Me’, GIANNI TAYLOR takes the time on his new song to take responsibility for his decisions and mistakes. He comes from a place of vulnerability, which opens up the way for all of his listener’s to connect with him.
It also doesn’t hurt that this track is a banger musically as well. The track is based around a simple guitar-picking loop, but with a lot of exciting drums to build it up. TAYLOR does a good job of going along with the instrumental, rising and falling in key spots to add to the dynamics of the song. Let’s hope we have more like this from TAYLOR here in the near future.
