Blackbear Recruits Machine Gun Kelly For Break Up Anthem “gfy”

There’s a reason why people stress consistency for artists pursuing a career in their craft. In a time where social media is at the forefront of peoples focus, It’s important to remember that the quality of the art is still a factor and a very big one. Since quarantine began we’ve seen a bunch of different genres gain popularity. One of those genres is pop punk. When I was in high school there was a lot of different bands paving the way for the genre, but right now it seems like there are only two names really continuing to pave that path, and their names are Blackbear and Machine Gun Kelly…. And if you still need convincing they have a new single that’ll explain it all called “gfy”.

Blackbear and Machine Gun Kelly have done an excellent job of making their music feel larger than just the song, and that has propelled both of them to a level of stardom that is insane considering how within reach they continue to manage to feel. Although their off the mic efforts deserve commending, that’s not to take anything away from their music because they continue to fill the genre with more hits and “gfy” is nothing short of that.
