Just an ‘Fyi’ for all you music nerds out there… you’re straight up lacking if you don’t have Garr on your radar this year. This song is emotionally, lyrically, and instrumentally charged to the brim!
The juxtaposition between the chilled out guitar picking and the speaker-blowing 808s that come in later on is super crazy. It’s like you have both ends of the energy spectrum covered, then Garr comes in perfectly down the middle with raw, extra smooth vocals to balance it out. The way he hits some of those melodies is both impressive and dangerously catchy!
