Have you ever heard a song and instantly felt like you were in a movie? Like, everything from the lyrics, to the storytelling, to the production just bring you to a whole different place and life seems to pause around you? That’s how I felt listening to this new Max Drazen song. It’s beautifully tragic and jam-packed with a wondrous, cinematic feel that’s sure to have you hitting repeat.
The intensity in the production is spot-on here, and Drazen’s effortless vocals fits so well over top. He sings with so much genuine emotion that it’s hard not to feel what’s being said. I also love the attention to detail in the songwriting! Every word is poetically written and carries such an intentionality to it. The symbolism is off the charts!
Give this one a listen if you haven’t yet… you won’t be disappointed!
Lyrics That Stick:
“Once you stick your teeth in
No going back to reason”
