It’s safe to say that as bad as 2020 has been, this music Jack Omstead has been consistently releasing is making it a little better. ‘Dove’ feels like a giant ball of love bundled up into 2 minutes and 48 seconds!
This dude’s talent and ear for music is obviously undeniable. What’s really great about this track is how well-written and well-composed it is. Through his writing, Omstead perfectly balances the use of the dove symbolism along with real-life, detailed storytelling. Blending these two ends of the spectrum is no easy task, but when done right, it allows the listener to connect wonderfully, just like on this song. When you give this one a listen, TRY not dance along. We dare you.
