In a time where it truly feels like ‘everything sux,’ Apollo is giving us all something to relate to while opening up and letting us get a closer look into his perspectives.
I just love how intimate this songwriting feels! I get the sense that I can understand Apollo better as a person after listening, which is a great indicator of high-level writing. While the dark tones and solemn vocal deliveries create an emotional atmosphere, Apollo also incorporates signs of hope and excitement when he begins spitting that insane verse, giving off a super genuine energy. Give this one a listen if you haven’t yet - you won’t regret it!
