To put him in the best terms, Abe Parker is what you get when you bring John Mayer and Ed Sheeran together and put them on a trap beat. With innovative production and exceptional vocals, Parker has continued to impress with his introspective singles that tend to pull at our heartstrings. Although he is based in Atlanta, GA, his music is reaching listeners all over. Now, he is back with his new heartfelt record titled “Empty House”.
“Empty House” is a stripped-down single in the same vein as his viral TikTok hit “Slipping Through my Fingers”. To me, the song makes me feel calm and comfortable with being alone in my own skin. The production is soothing and he has a voice that has me reaching for every word. Overall, this is my favorite song from Abe and I can’t wait to hear more.
