Chyld is an upcoming producer who’s been making his presence know in the Indie pop scene as he builds his music catalogue and crafts an original sound that his fans love. In his newest single “Eastside” he collaborates with singer-songwriter Anou as she takes us through the journey of her relationship, through it’s falling apart and the process of moving on. The songwriting on this track is really personal and emotional which helps the song seem really relatable.
Chyld’s production on this track is really interesting because I can hear pop ballad chord progressions, EDM vocal production and instances of Trap drums which keeps the listeners engaged since they don’t quite know what to expect next.So if you’re looking for a song that covers heartbreak with an Alt pop approach, ”Eastside” is just for you.
