Dougy Oak - Lighthouse (feat. Jp Thornewell)
By: Trevor Siebold IG/Twitter: @musicbytrev

This track shines as bright as a ‘Lighthouse!’ LA-based artist Dougy Oak is the definition of a genre-bending, one-of-a-kind sound. With the ability to stretch so far across styles of music, his latest song ‘Lighthouse’ is putting that versatility on full display.
The hook on this one is dangerously catchy. Bringing it in right away before the first verse hits, it grabs the listener’s attention from the very beginning. Using the lighthouse as a metaphor in this situation about his own life and relationship was super clever and a fun way to tie in his own experiences. Not to mention the decision to have Jp Thornewell hop on a verse too, making this one a must for your summer playlist.
Hats off to these two for bringing the vibes as always! Go give this one a spin ASAP.
Lyrics That Stick:
“And I can still remember when our lives came
Together we were dancing in the light rain”
